Never fall in love on the internet.
Are we really alive, or just breathing?
Were we born to just sleep-walk through life?
Who knows.
Do you ever ask yourself; “What would the world around me be like if I didn’t exist?”
I just did.
It’s a scary thought.
Hey guise. Do I still have any readers? Time to fix that, eh?
So i’m finally done with High School. Or at least, I think it was High School…And hopefully my IGCSE doesn’t suck so bad that I need to resit. That would call for an heroism. Anyway, a whole lot of things have happened since i’ve last blogged, and reading that brings back the horrible memories. Well, no more! I figure this’ll be a really long one, so i’ll make a list of what i’ll write about. Bear with me, here.
1) Time after the strike.
2) Mocking the exams.
3) Resurrection and death.
4) Examining the mocks!
5) Boss battle! (IGCSE/ Level: O/ HP: >9000)
6) Puppies!
7) MOAR PUPPIES!
8) A new beast.
9) The Probrem with proms.
10) Goodbye.
11) The time after.
Yikes. I think i’ll finish this later.
It was a rainy day, it had been raining pretty much the whole week. I’d just finished watching a movie, and I was chatting with my brother, complaining about how my ipod was already on its way out, when like a rifle shot from the clouds, a bolt crashed right into home, casting the house house into darkness. I walked out of my room, stunned. I had knots emerging in my stomach, anxiety overcoming me. Direct hit with a thunderbolt usually equates to blown fuses, destroyed technology and technically a lot of grief. And I was right. I reset the fuse box and the lights flashed to life. I did a check. Astro, working. Tv, working. Modem, surprisingly working. Wireless, dead. I dashed up the stairs to my computer. The moment of truth. I hit the button on my monitor, it turned on. This’s a good sign. My speaker system was working as well. I punched the ON button on my CPU.
I pushed it again. And again. And again. It wouldn’t turn on. I flipped the switch at the back of the rig off and on, it still wouldn’t work.
My heart sank. My computer, everything, basically all my memories, gone. It took me years to accumulate my collections of music, images and stories. All gone. Mom sent the computer to the computer shop to get diagnosed. The people said it was just my power supply that got fried, so mom paid around RM200 to buy a new better one.
I got the machine back, but there were a few problems. The multitude of fans weren’t working, and when I finally managed to get it to boot up Windows, it immediately died.
It was then that I was certain, it was dead. I’m hoping that my graphics card’s still safe at least…
Anyway, it’s Chinese New Year, so Happy Chinese New Year!
Hay Guise i’m back.
Been sick for a couple of days so I couldn’t go to school. Not completely healed, but I should be able to return tomorrow.
What’s with the title you might ask?
Well I’ll tell you!
You won’t guess what happened!
It’s AWESOME.
And Large.
And Black.
And drools occasionally.
Did I mention I was sick?
I did?
Oh, I see.
Really?
Awriight.
I’ve got a new pup.
She’s a Black Labrador Retriever with a super-fine shiny coat.
She’s about…4 months old, and I already taught her how to sit on my command. It’s unbelievable, just half and hour of teaching and she’s got it. I think I may have a prodigy on my hands.
Oh, by the way, her name is AKIRA (Ah-Kee-RAH), or Aki/Kira for short.
It’s Japanese, if you haven’t already guessed.
I’ll poast pictures tomorrow. Or maybe not.
Hey guys. It’s been a long time since i’ve updated, and I figured, eh. I’m going to be shutting the site down for good. There’s no point in keeping it up and wasting money in paying for the bandwidth.
I woke up at around 7 this morning, and went out cycling for awhile. I don’t know why, but it was impulse. Most of the time whenever I want to wake up early, it’s to go play computer games.
Anyway, I was taking the usual route around my house, pass the field/playground behind the neighbourhood. I’d decided to slow down by the time I reached the field, to rest and enjoy the still-cold breeze, when I noticed some scuffling at the opposite end of the field. That side is very close to the river path, and had a LOT of trees lining it, so it was pretty shady. It was a couple of guys, 1 of them, chinese I think…Was wearing a pair of grey-looking sweat pants and a blue t-shirt, while the other 2 were wearing what I THINK were jeans and t-shirts…
They looked to be having an argument so I just continued on-wards, picking up speed and finishing 1 lap of the route. I circled round the neighborhood once more and when I got back to the field…
It was f*cking horrible. The argument had broken out into a goddamn fist-fight. One of the guys in jeans, I think he had a knife, because when he attacked, the chinese guy just dropped. I was, honestly speaking, scared shitless.
I pedalled like I never did before, hoping those guys never noticed me or where I was going.
I reached home, accidentally crashing into front gate. I ran up to mom’s room mom got scared and said, “You’re movin’ with your auntie and uncle in Bel-Air.”
I whistled for a cab and when it came near the license plate said fresh and it had dice in the mirror. If anything I could say that this cab was rare, but I thought, “Nah, forget it. Yo holmes! To Bel-Air!” I pulled up to the house about 7 or 8 and I yelled to the cabby yo holmes smell ya later. I looked at my kingdom. I was finally there,
To sit on my throne as the Fresh Prince of Bel-Air.
Hey all. I haven’t been updating lately due to AI- I mean, slow internet connection.
A couple of days ago, I was just getting out of the shower, drying myself on and donning a pair of shorts, when I heard a huge commotion outside in the garden. At first, I thought it was one of the stupid neighbours again, they like to walk their dog AT NIGHT. Anyway, I was taking my time, when I heard mom yelling something to the maid in malay,
“……………….ULAR………”
And I thought ‘Oh SH’, as I ran to the window to see the battle going on. Babe had a black snake between here jaws, flailing it about.
I ran to my room, and took my bamboo staff/stick, and ran down to the garden.
When I got down, the snake was already seemingly dead on the ground, Babe was panting heavily, and drooling. I turned around and Babe ran back to the corpse and carried it a few metres, before I caught her and told her to drop it, which she did.
Just to make sure, I swung at the snake’s head, crushing it.

VS

At the vet, we were checking over the corpse of the snake, after Babe had been checked over for any bite wounds. The Cobra was 4 feet long, and more than capable to killing a Great Dane (ie. Scoooby-Dooooby-dooooo.) It had a huge wound near the middle, and it seems the spine had been crushed. Now, Babe is not only a Guardian, but also a Strategist, to some extent. Her attack severely wounded the Intruder, as the broken spine meant the snake could not turn around and stab it’s toxin filled fangs into Babe as she swung it around in her maw. When the snake DID strike, however, Babe was fast enough to evade it, as it merely scratched her ear, not deep enough to inject any venom.

We left the vet, Babe calmed down, and feeling proud. Babe, The Guardian, The Strategist, The Snake-bane. Okay, maybe that’s a little too much. But still. This was not her first encounter with a cobra, though. Years back, another cobra, similar to this one, came into our garden. Coney, the other Golden Retriever, was the one who fought it off, but got bitten right in the snout. She died an hour or two later. Coney was the more aggressive of the two, jumping right into the fray, which is what got her killed…

Anyway, Exam week next week, i’m so screwed.
It’s been a crazy week. A lot of things happening, a few laughs, and much sadness. On the 31 of May, I decided to stay back at school for my first ever soccer training, until around 5PM. It was tiring, but I had a lot of fun, though I had to be sent to the hospital, more on that later. Anyway, I dragged myself to the main office building, at the other end of the school, and began to feel the aftereffects of over strain. I felt dizzy, light headed. Like on the brink of vomiting and passing out at the same time. I walked over to a bench, dropped the plastic bag (with my dirty clothes and school shoes) on one end and lied down on the bench, the bag acting as a pillow of sorts. I shut my eyes for awhile, the dizziness dissipating. I ‘woke up’ after a few minutes, finally feeling better. When mom arrived to pick me up, I shambled towards the red Volvo, and was surprised to see a little white and grey kitten sitting in the front passenger seat.
Mom says she found him under the Volvo in the factory, when the women working in the office were outside peering below the vehicle. She stuck her hand out, under the car and called for the kitten, and he walked straight into her hands. If that isn’t trust, I do not know what is.
Anyway, I was still feeling a little bit dizzy, as I let the kitten walk around on me, nibbling and clawing my hands, so mom decided to drive me to the hospital to get a pressure test done. Turns out everything was fine, so we left on our way back home, when I suggested we take the cat to the vet, to get his shots and deworming. Well, we went back home, to grab Kit, my black cat, because he seemed to be having eating problems. At the vet, the kitten was dewormed and everything, but was discovered to have symptoms of Cat Flu, so it was suggested he stayed at the vet for a few days, to get cured, then given a vaccination. Kit had gum infection, so was given pain killers for that, and also some meds. I had decided to name the grey furball- Cloud.
Days went by, uneventfully, until around Saturday or Sunday, I suggested we go see Cloud. At the vet, he seemed fine, he was crapping okay, and had no dietary problems. He seemed to be cured of the Flu, and the vet said it was fine to take him home, so we did. At first, he was a little freaked out by the dogs at home, and Chi Nap Nap, the resident fat cat didn’t take too kindly to him dropping in, resulting in her hissing and spitting. Kit seemed to tolerate him, though, and vice versa. I suppose this must also be due to Kit being rather calm and loving, as opposed to grumpy.
The dogs? Cloud usually avoided them like the plague, growling whenever he’s anywhere close to one, even dear old Buffy. Eventually however, he got used to Buffy, regularly clawing and swiping at his tail whenever he walked by. I even let him play with a small ball with a bell inside, and a stuffed lion from an old McDonald’s Happy Meal, which he always attacked with vigour.
Meanwhile, the school production practice was coming along, blah blah blah, boring stuff. THEN came the god forsaken ICT Practical ‘exam’, which caught everyone unawares. It was horrible, like crossing through Omaha. I completely failed it. Stupid HTML, and stupid Dreamweaver. I was pissed for the rest of the day.
Then…On Thursday, 7th June, disaster struck. The day before Cloud was exploring outside, getting used to the dogs, and going through the garden. At night when it was time to lock up, he was still outside, so I presumed he was sleeping. The next morning I woke up with a bad feeling, that something was going to happen. I came down and realised he still wasn’t in the house, so I asked mom about him, and she just pointed to the garage, and he was apparantly walking around (I didn’t see him), so I left it at that. I was already late for school, so I hurriedly got in the car, Mom apparently checked for the kitten, looking under the car and all that, and couldn’t find him, so she figured he was already inside, but I didn’t see him, at all. We reversed out the drive way, when I heard some strange rattling noise coming from the left side of the car…And halfway out of the gate, we saw it..It was a horrific scene…Little Cloud lay on the drive way..Dead…His insides out..I felt horrible, mom began to cry a bit. I was mentally swearing at myself. I knew something like this was going to happen, when I didn’t see him to into the house…Mom blamed Chip, one of the stupidest dogs i’ve had, because he was probably scaring the kitten into seeking refuge under the car, as Cloud was always scared of the outside dogs. I’ve hated myself since that day, I KNOW I could have saved him..But..
Tonight (or last night) was the IIS Prom, Year 11’s departure from the school. It was not as fun, and I didn’t really have a great time, for a variety of reasons. More on that next time.
